Leadership Code of Ethics is a guide used in performing duties with trustworthiness and integrity of the church leaders. God appoints leaders to look after the affairs of the church. Hence, there are notable qualifications that the Bible has set for leaders: They should be above reproach, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable and able to teach (1 Timothy 3:2). In addition, they should be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to wine, and not greedy for dishonest gain (1 Timothy 3:8). At our church, the leadership is composed of Ministry Leaders and Support Leaders. Both types of leaders adhere to the same Code of Ethics, although they may differ in the gravity of their responsibilities.
Having accepted God’s call to leadership of Hosanna Christian Church, I covenant with God to serve Christ and the Church by God’s grace and the help of the Holy Spirit, to deepen my relationship to God.
In affirmation of this commitment, I will abide by the Code of Ethics of Hosanna Christian Church and I will faithfully support its purposes and ideals, I covenant with my colleagues in ministry that we will hold one another accountable for fulfilment of all the public actions set forth in our Code of Ethics.
Everyone depends on anything they believe in. And every belief is based on something they thought it was correct, although they maybe "sincerely wrong." Hosanna Christian Church would never be wrong! As a local church of the great Body of Jesus, HCC believes on doctrines called Statement of Faith, that is based solely on the Word of God, the Bible. The Bible is authored by the almighty God Who never makes mistakes. Our Statement of Faith serves as the skeleton of the church. With it, the church can withstand the demands of wavering beliefs around us, specifically cultic doctrines. Statement of Faith clarifies all grey areas--when in doubt, members and non-members alike, may read through these statements including the supporting Scriptures.
Core values are internal conducts or fundamental beliefs that guide a church. They usually support the vision of the church, shape the internal culture of the church. These are guiding principles as to how members and leaders of the church relate within the church, and to the external world as well. These guiding principles dictate behaviour and can help people understand the difference between right and wrong. We believe that core values of a church, like Hosanna Christian Church, are supported by the Bible, and that every value aims for the glory of the Head of the Church, whose is Jesus Christ.
